John Sirrelle- Profile:
John was born in Birmingham but has lived in Highworth, Wiltshire since 1985. He is a member of local art groups : Faringdon Art Society (winning several awards for his pictures) , Lechlade Art Society and Fosseway Artists. He has a realistic approach and works from life, sketches and photographs, preferably his own, but also donated royalty free.
John is a self taught artist and continues to develop his own techniques including media such as pencil, watercolour and acrylic. He currently works in Chromacolour (acrylic) and high quality coloured pencils*, usually using acrylic in liquid form, with coloured pencils. Although John still enjoys painting many different subjects in different media, he decided to specialise in animal pictures from 2013.

Caran d'Ache has created 100 stunning and intense hues, all from its factory in Geneva.
